How to Write a Good Analytical Essay

An analytical essay is usually considered as one of the most complex works that are given  in educational institutions.

However, everything seems complicated only at first glance!

And in this article, we’ll take a look at some simple tips that will help you to write this kind of complicated work!

So, if you have already chosen a subject  for your essay, then the next thing you will do is write an introduction.

Your intro should provide the reader with background information about your topic. Try to make this part interesting and intriguing, do not expose all cards right away!

-Avoid summing up – it’s best to just point your argument. Also, avoid dramatic introductions (the beginning of an essay with a question or a cry is usually better avoided). It is also not recommended to use the first or second person when writing an essay.

Next – we go to the writing of the main part. Each body paragraph should have 1) a thematic proposal, 2) an analysis of a certain  part of the text 3) evidence from a text that supports your position and a convincing statement about your subject. Remember that each of your positions should be supported by the additions and examples.

You should also know when to quote or rephrase. Citation means that you are taking the exact text and placing it in quotation marks, inserting it into your abstract. Quote is useful when you use the exact wording to support your position.

On the other hand, paraphrasing is that you summarize the text. Paraphrasing can be used to provide background or compression of many parts for short. This can be good if you have a lot of information or you need to bring a huge part of the text to convey something. It is not necessary to use more than two short quotations in the paragraph. If the quotation is long (more than 15 words) then one should limit itself, because if there are too much quotes, it will create the impression that you are hiding behind the words of other people.

And the last, write your conclusion. Your conclusion is a place where you remind your reader how you supported your argument. Some teachers and tutors  also want you to make a wider link in your conclusion. In fact, they want to conclude and briefly retell the entire story. However, it is often unnecessary.

You also don’t  need to enter a completely new argument in your conclusion. But you can hire a professional essay writer to complete all your writing assignments

Hope, this information will be useful for you!
